Food Donation Program for 30 Destitute Elderly People - 06/04/2016

Lucy Molnar Wing Memorial Charitable Trust, on June 4, 2016 committed to donate nutritious meals to 30 destitute old persons as an ongoing food donation program.

The age group of the elderly persons who are currently under the care of RS Service Society - Old Age Home, Palakol, West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh state in India are between 60 and 90 years old, who are neglected by their family members.

Due to age constraint the elderly are not able to work and not able to feed themselves.  Lucy Molnar Wing Memorial Charitable Trust assured long-term support to the old age home to provide nutritious meals on a regular basis.

The food donation program started with breakfast (Traditional South Indian Idli with Chutney, Mangoes & Tea) to the 30 elderly started on June 5, 2016, Sunday between 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.. We thank everyone for the help making the start of this program so successful .  We also would like to take this opportunity to thank Management and Warden of Old Age Home.
